Writing
My superpower is harnessing the power of words to communicate impact. Whether it's storytelling in reports, vision-setting in grant proposals, or shaping ideas in policy memos, below is a selection of my recent work. Click on the titles to explore.

Report (December 2021)
In collaboration with the CEO, communications manager, and department directors, I designed and wrote the content of the 2021 Annual Report in its entirety.
Report (October 2020)
In the summer and fall of 2020, I conducted a research project with Jeff Levine, Lecturer of Economic Development and Planning at MIT. Based on interviews with economic development leaders and survey responses from small business owners in six cities, we outlined five recommendations for supporting small businesses and reimagining downtowns in the wake of COVID-19. Featured in the Lansing State Journal and on the UnPlanned Podcast.
Master’s Thesis (January 2021)
My master’s thesis focuses on Paseo Boricua, the center of Puerto Rican culture, business, and politics in Chicago. Through interviews with twenty-one community leaders and residents, historical research, and a review of public media, I discuss how Paseo Boricua came to be, analyze preservation strategies, and argue why the continued preservation of Paseo Boricua matters.
